Happy Sunday,
We are already almost halfway through October. Time is flying by so fast. School starts to speed up around this time as the holidays come around. The last two months of the semester always feel a little chaotic.
I spent the weekend figuring out a new fitness schedule. I had ChatGPT build me a workout regimen for me to use during the four days I can actually make it to the gym. Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday are my windows, and I am looking to maximize my muscles' potential. Believe me, I already feel the crunch.
This morning I woke up with tender calves and jelly legs.
My week starts off packed with meetings. I begin my week trying to figure out how to edit interviews. Remember when I shot that interview with Monica and the candy in the background? Well, now I have to edit it down and put captions at the bottom. By the end of my meeting with Kelly from the Innovation Center, I will be a Premiere Pro!
I have a design sprint scheduled with the same group, the Innovation Center, this coming Friday. I am excited for that, as it means we are finally going to hammer down what we want to do as a group. This is one of those moments when my writing will be a key asset in the project process. I showed up to both of the optional team meetings last week. I enjoyed hearing everybody’s thoughts regarding the design process.
I have a therapy meeting with Nicole on Tuesday, and I am already considering what I want to mention. Many of our conversations take on a light-hearted tone and end with the same smile we had at the beginning of our meeting. Last time I asked her some personal questions, such as “Who is your favorite singer?” She gave me a positive response—"Ariana Grande."
My coding project is due this Friday. Don’t worry, I have an idea I want to execute. Frank Shepard, the man I call the godsend professor, instructed us to model a problem arising from a data set. For example, I want to find out how many words I have written in total for TJL. I have to figure out how to code that in Python. I call Frank a godsend because he told us at the beginning of the semester that he doesn’t grade projects by how well they turn out but by our reflection and effort put forth.
That and he allows me to blabber in class about all of the amazing things technology is discovering. Read some of it here!
