I have acquired two rings in the past month, and the journey to finding the perfect fit has been entertaining. I have never been a big wearer of jewelry, so this change was an adjustment. I wanted to find pieces that worked with my bony hands and my pinky undertones. Luckily, I have found two pieces that feel nice on my hands and look good.

First is the kitty ring. This piece is charming and easy to style. I posted a thread on Facebook comparing my ring to Dolores Umbridge’s entire persona, and everybody loved it. When I wear this giant ring, I feel that I have finally found a piece that fits my personality. Yes, it is gaudy, and I love it.

Second is the jackrabbit ring. This piece is newer and certainly bolder. In my day-to-day, I constantly contemplate rewatching the movie “House Bunny.” That film was my initial introduction to Anna Faris, so this ring evokes a strong sense of nostalgia. The ears add a lot to the piece. I like how big and floppy they are. The piece has an easy-on-the-eyes design. I like it.
These rings are a wonderful start, but I want to add more rings to my collection. I don’t like pieces that disappear into the bling of my nails. Give me everything and more. I want the ring to pop no matter if my fingers turn black and blue. That’s the type of energy I am looking for.
