This afternoon I was walking to meet with Shivani at Rosemary Home when I discovered a beautiful window display. There were several mannequins, all wearing different looks. snow lay at the bottom, and lights surrounded the edge of the window. In the middle was a coat that I quickly fell in love with. I knew I had an obligation to fulfill, so I asked the shopkeeper to set the coat aside.
When it was time to return to the shop, I tried on the coat once again. I quickly zipped up the coat for Shivani to get a taste. She asked me to spin around a few times before agreeing with the opinion of everybody in the room—it looked wonderful! I knew I also wanted the raw opinion of the owner because she was older and clearly had more experience. I feel like the OGs of New York—or the people who have been living here for more than a couple of years—have the best fashion advice. They always dish out the truth and are usually chill. The owner offered me a discount for the coat.
“Normally, it’s $250,” she explained, “But for you I will go down to $200 in cash right now.”
I raced to the closest ATM and got my money ready. Within two minutes, the coat was coming home with me. It all happened so fast. One second I was debating the size (XXS) and how it fit, and the next I was strutting down the street in my new find.
Without further ado, here is the coat

As soon as I hit the street in this coat, I had people asking me all sorts of questions.
“Is it real? ” Definitely not. I wouldn’t harm a polar bear for my pleasure.
“Is it warm?” Yes, I am sweating in 40 degree weather.
“Can I take your picture?” I think you already know the answer to that question…
F**CK YEAH
